Originally from the hilly picturesque seafront town of Hastings at the southern end of England I arrived in Australia a somewhat large number of moons ago!  From as young as I can remember I have always had the urge to travel, to learn from and watch different cultures at work and at play. There is nothing quite like landing in a country you’ve yet to explore – like turning the page of a new book – it unfolds in front of you – culturally, visually and environmentally.  With photography being a driving force in my life  it was a natural progression combining travel with photography – two areas that challenge me on a daily basis.   As a photographer I am always after that next all telling image that holds the viewers attention long enough for them to connect and remember the photograph long after they walk away.

For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move.” – Robert Louis Stevenson
